• Question: Could nanotechnology improve treatment of heart attack and heart failure?

      Hi Erica,
      Yes definitely, it will improve the treatment of heart disease because the tests that we are working on will be able to tell you much quicker whether or not you are at risk of having a heart attack or not. These devices will also be cheaper so it will make them more available to everyone. They will also be portable and small and easy to use which means you could do the tests at home yourself,just like how people with diabetes check there blood sugars at home.
      I hope the technology I am developing will be able to help people with heart disease in the same way.
