I have plenty of time for hobbies!

I play squash, a lot. Oh so much squash. It’s a really fast game, and you have to be constantly moving and thinking

I do tai chi, which is like a slow karate, because it’s so relaxing

I also watch a lot of TV, probably more than I should. Doctor Who being my favourite!

At the start of my PhD someone warned me, “It’s a job, not your life. Don’t let it be your life” so I make sure to make time for my hobbies:
Reading, cinema, rock-climbing, guitar. And for my friends too.

I’m the same as the other two. It’s a job, and when I leave the lab/office at 5 or 6 pm, I’m free to do what I like. Same at the weekends.

Hence I spend a lot of my time playing water polo with the university team (I was captain last season) and go sailing every once in a while. On top of that I really enjoy reading, especially fantasy and sci-fi, and play harp. Not much time or interest in TV, I only watch Dr. Who and Game of Thrones (currently both off air) but that’s it.
