• Question: Do you prefare to do testing on Animals or Machines?

      Definitely machines, there is no need to use animals unless it is totally necessary!

      As Sinead says, we don’t test on animals unless we have no other option, and I prefer to test on machines too

      It’s one of the perks of physics, you don’t ever need to test on animals!

      Hi Ciara,

      I’ve never done an experiment on an animal and I don’t think I ever will, so I can’t actually compare. But I have a feeling that I much prefer working with machines than with animals…

      I don’t ever have to test on animals so I can’t really compare. However, the machines we use can be just as delicate and difficult to take care of as animals. And when they die (break) they are far more expensive to replace!

      I still prefer machines though because they tend to be more predictable than animals. And you don’t have to remember to feed them.
