When working in any type of Science not just nanotechnology you are creative everyday. Being creative means you can think of new ways of doing some experiments. Or if you’re experiments don’t work you can think of ways to try and make them work and being creative definitely helps.
Working in nanotechnology means I get to use cool things like lasers and lots of electronics so when you are designing you’re experiment setup you can be as creative as you want really.
      It’s really fun 🙂

Yes. In order to be a successful scientist you must be able to think outside the box. What can I do with this system I have? What could this device be used for? These are questions that are always at the forefront of a scientists thoughts.

Also, occasionally we get to participate in programmes like this where you have to be very creative to answer all these great questions!
